2. Service and technical capabilities

3D Point makes objects from a three-dimensional model you provide. We use FDM printing on Bambu Lab X2D (build volume 256 × 256 × 260 mm) and AnkerMake M5C (220 × 220 × 250 mm); the current material list is on the Materials page. Your item is made specifically for you from your file and chosen material, colour, quality, infill and quantity; it is not a ready-made stock item.

FDM printing leaves visible layers and normal manufacturing variations. These are not a lack of conformity when consistent with what was shown and agreed. Do not assume a print is suitable for medical, protective, aviation, load-bearing or other uses where failure could endanger life, health or property unless we have expressly confirmed that use in writing.

3. Instant quote and price

Automatic ordering is unavailable if the model exceeds the build volume, fits only after rotation, has many overhangs or its volume cannot be measured reliably. Open edges alone are not an obstacle; the slicing software closes them. Where manual review is possible, we will direct you to send the file to sales@3dpoint.bg. A price and lead time are established only after our express confirmation.

4. Contract formation and payment

Before ordering, you see the selected settings, total production price and estimated lead time. You enter your name, email, courier phone number, selected courier, collection point or delivery address and any notes. Clicking the payment button submits a binding order and takes you to Stripe. The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed and the order reaches “Paid” status. Production does not begin before confirmed payment.

If card payment is not enabled, the submitted request is only a request for confirmation. We will email you about payment and the details; the contract is concluded upon our written confirmation. You can correct your details before submitting the form. Afterwards, email sales@3dpoint.bg immediately.

5. Your file and rights in it

By uploading, you declare that you have the right to use and reproduce the model and that the commissioned work infringes no third-party copyright, patent, industrial or other rights and is not prohibited by law. We may refuse an order if we reasonably suspect infringement or dangerous or unlawful use. The file is used for analysis, quoting, production and handling claims in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

6. Bespoke services: modelling and reproduction from a sample

Alongside printing from a ready-made file, we offer two bespoke services. For 3D modelling, you describe what you need and add photos or sketches; we create the model and print it after approval. For reproduction from a physical sample, you send us an object and we make a copy.

A submitted request invites a quote; it is not an order and creates no payment obligation. A contract arises only when you accept the specific quote and pay it. The quote remains valid until its stated expiry and may then be renewed. Bespoke services are paid in full in advance.

We do not make or reproduce weapons or their parts and components, keys or locking mechanisms, or items bearing third-party trademarks or protected by intellectual property rights. We may also refuse a request where there is another reasonable suspicion of unlawful or dangerous use. By submitting a request, you declare that you have the right to commission the manufacture or reproduction.

For reproduction from a sample, you pay for shipping the object to us. Returning it with the copy is included in the order price. We record the object’s condition on receipt. We do not accept unique, valuable, fragile or irreplaceable objects. Our liability for damage or loss is limited to the compensation payable by the courier under the consignment note, unless we caused the damage intentionally or through gross negligence.

Rights in a file created to your brief are governed in the same way as files you upload under clause 5. The file is retained and used to fulfil the order and handle claims in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

7. Fulfilment and delivery

The estimated lead time takes account of expected machine time and the current printer queue. It is not a guaranteed date. Orders are normally fulfilled in the order received. We deliver to Econt or Speedy collection points in Bulgaria and to addresses in Romania and Greece through Speedy/DPD.

8. Right of withdrawal

The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to an item made from your file and chosen settings because it is goods made to the consumer’s order or individual requirements, under the exception in Article 57(3) of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act. The exception applies to the personalised goods ordered, not only once printing has begun.

To request cancellation before production, email sales@3dpoint.bg. We will tell you whether cancellation is possible and what can be refunded in light of work already completed. This contractual arrangement does not create a statutory right of withdrawal for custom goods already ordered and does not affect your rights for lack of conformity.

9. Conformity and claims

If you are a consumer, you have all rights under the Bulgarian Act on the Supply of Digital Content and Digital Services and the Sale of Goods and the Consumer Protection Act. We are liable for a lack of conformity present on delivery and becoming apparent within two years of delivery. You may request repair or replacement to bring the goods into conformity where the chosen remedy is possible and proportionate, or, in the cases provided by law, a price reduction or termination of the contract. Exercising these rights is free of charge.

Submit a claim to sales@3dpoint.bg, stating your order number and the problem, with photos if possible. We will register the claim and give you a document with its date and number. There is no shortened 14-day claims period. A feature of the supplied model of which you were informed, or which results from the dimensions and geometry you specified, is not a lack of conformity. This is assessed case by case and does not limit your statutory rights.

10. Complaints and out-of-court dispute resolution

You may first email us at sales@3dpoint.bg. You may also complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection and request consideration by the relevant conciliation commission through kzp.bg. The European Online Dispute Resolution platform under Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 closed on 20 July 2025 and the regulation was repealed; there is therefore no longer an active link for submitting disputes through it. Your right to bring proceedings in court remains.

11. Governing law and changes

Bulgarian law applies without depriving you of mandatory protection in the EU country where you habitually reside. The version of these terms accepted when placing the order applies to that order. Changes apply prospectively.
