What accuracy can you expect?
FDM builds in layers. A thinner layer gives a smoother surface and more detail but takes longer, so you choose the quality and see its effect on the price.
Holes and internal dimensions usually come out slightly smaller, and external dimensions slightly larger. If the prototype must fit other parts, allow around 0.2–0.3 mm clearance and mention it in the order notes.
Several versions at once
Prototypes rarely come in just one version. Upload each version as a separate file; each gets its own price and 3D preview before you decide which to order.
For multiple copies of the same version, increase the quote quantity. The printer makes the batch together, saving preparation time for us.
Large models
The build volume is 256 × 256 × 260 mm. We automatically check whether the model fits, including rotation. Larger objects can be split for assembly; email us and we will work out where to split them together.
Frequently asked questions
When will it be ready?
Lead time depends on machine time and the current queue. An estimate is shown in your quote. We do not promise a fixed date; we prefer accurate information to a deadline we cannot meet.
My model has open edges. Is that a problem?
Usually not. Open edges are normal in CAD exports and scanned models, and the slicing software closes them. We stop instant pricing only if the volume cannot be measured reliably; then we review the file manually.
Can I order the same prototype again?
Yes. “Order again” on the order page creates a new quote using the same file and settings at current prices.
