Which material for which part?

PETG is the usual choice for functional parts: tougher than PLA, able to tolerate higher temperatures and less prone to snapping on impact. Suitable for brackets, holders, covers and domestic appliance parts.

PLA is the most accurate and cheapest, but softens above around 55 °C and is brittle. Good for unloaded parts and models, not something left in a sunny car.

TPU is flexible. It makes seals, plugs, non-slip feet and anything that needs to bend without tearing.

For heat, outdoor use or substantial loads, we offer more demanding materials: ABS and ASA in our enclosed, heated chamber, polycarbonate and nylon, including carbon-fibre variants PA6-CF and PAHT-CF where rigidity and wear resistance matter.

What we cannot do

We do not print with photopolymer resin; it is a different technology. If your part requires it, we will tell you before accepting the order.

We do not make or reproduce weapons or their parts, keys, locking mechanisms or items bearing third-party trademarks.

No 3D file?

Most people with a missing part do not have one. There are two routes: describe what you need and send photos with measurements for us to model, or send the part itself for reproduction. Either way, you receive a price by email first and owe nothing until you accept it.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a small part cost?

The price depends on volume and machine time, not the type of object. A minimum charge applies, so even the smallest part cannot cost less. The exact final price including VAT appears as soon as you upload the file.

Will it be as strong as the original?

Not always. A printed plastic part is built in layers and is weaker across them than a moulded part. That is sufficient for many uses, but not for load-bearing or heavily stressed parts. Tell us the intended use and we will give an honest answer.

I only have the broken part, without measurements.

Send it to us through our reproduction-from-a-sample service. We return both the original and the copy; return shipping is included in the order price.
